It has been 8 months since Carlos at Prime Locksmith helped replace the lock on my condo unit door. There had been no issue with the lock and I am very happy with the service.

It was a 5-star experience in all aspects. It started with communication. Carlos was very responsive, he responded on the same day I requested a quote and he was very detail in asking questions to make sure he understood the issue. It took two months before he could come out to change the locks for me due to unexpected flooding of my unit. I had to delay the changing of the lock again and again as the restoration work dragged on. But every time I contacted Carlos, he was pleasant and as responsive as the first time.

The problem with my lock was that the key would stick in the deadbolt making it very difficult to pull out. There was also an issue that the lever lock was not working (I had locked myself out and another locksmith had drilled through the lock).

On the day of the appointment, Carlos showed up on time. He inspected the lock to double check whether it really needed a full lock change. He cautioned me that changing the lock might reveal a patch of different colour on the door as the old obsolete lock had a large face plate. I appreciate the heads up. Carlos got three new keys for me, but when I requested two more, he had no issue with that and got them cut right away.

Overall, I am very happy with the service, the communication, the quality of work, and the execution of the job. I would highly recommend Prime Locksmith.
